Opodo is a great travel site that doesn’t use GAYL as well as http://www.skyscanner.net

    • Hi Justin

Thanks for your suggestions. Opodo is actually already one of our partner retailers, so you can start raising funds there right now.

Sky Scanner are available on one of the retailer networks we work with, so we will be able to add them in future. I’ll let you know when they go live.

      Kind regards

      Matt

  4. National Saddle Centre – Just spent £271 with them – it would be good if they used GAYL!

    • Hi Bill

Thanks for your suggestion. I don’t believe they have an available scheme at the moment, however we will certainly keep an eye out for one. If there are any other equestrian sites that you’d like to use, please let me know.

      Kind regards

      Matt

  5. avatar Glennis McGregor says:

amazon please. I spends hundreds and hundreds on amazon every year.

    • Hi Glennis

Thanks for your suggestion. Amazon are our biggest target and we are making progress with them and are very hopeful of being able to add them soon. Once this happens, I’ll let you know.

      Kind regards

      Matt

  6. avatar Emily Casson says:

I work for a national charity and we book hundreds of trains per year around the country. Transpennine Express (http://www.tpexpress.co.uk/) are signed up to giveasyoulive but East Coast trains (http://www.eastcoast.co.uk/) aren’t. Would be great if you could get all the train companies on board!

    • Hi Emily

Thanks for your suggestion. Whilst East Coast trains don’t have their own scheme that we can join right now, a few of our existing stores do allow you to buy tickets for their trains. For instance, MyTrainTicket offer tickets for East Coast as well as Virgin Trains, First Great Western, CrossCountry and South West Trains; and you can raise 1% with each ticket purchase. .

      Kind regards

      Matt

It would be great if this worked on Amazon, as that’s where I seem to spend the most online.

    • Hi Ana

I agree, Amazon would a huge addition to Give as you Live. We are making progress with them and are very confident of making them available in future.

      Thanks

Why not chekcing with healthpan? http://www.healthspan.co.uk/

  12. I suggest you add Ocado, this would potentially generate some significant contributions.

    • Hi James

Yes, Ocado would be a great addition. They do appear to have a private scheme which I am investigating now. Like Tesco and ASDA, they give a set amount for all new customers.

I will keep you updated on any progress.

      Thanks

      Matt

  13. avatar Rachel says:

    Hello,
I shop with Riverford Organic Vegetables every week. Please could you ask them if they would like to join the scheme.
    Thank you,
    Rachel

  14. avatar Andrea says:

    ASOS!!!

Romance Academy would be in the money.

    • Hi Andrea

ASOS are another of our top targets and I think they are a possibility.

We’ve got a big batch of fashion retailers being added to Give as you Live soon and once that’s done, I’ll be able to contact ASOS and hopefully convince them to join.

      Thanks

      Matt

  15. avatar Suki says:

Breast Cancer Campaign use Quicks to purchase their office stationery – is it possible to add this retailer to GAYL?

  16. avatar nicola says:

Please have more gardening stores in your scheme, particularly Harrod Horticultural who charge me a fortune for delivery in the north of Scotland….

  17. avatar Lara says:

I shop regularly with Ocado and it would be good if they could make a donation every time. They’re pretty ethically-minded (for a supermarket – everything’s relative!) but their shares aren’t doing too well so I’m not sure if they have much leeway at the moment…

  18. avatar Parminder says:

How about Co-op Electrical, Amazon and Virgin Money?
Plus what about convincing banks to make a donation when you switch accounts or take out a credit card?
    Thanks

  19. avatar Neil Swan says:

Please could you add companies that sell tyres, exhausts, brake pads, etc like Kwik Fit. I had to buy some tyres the other day (£500 worth) so I am sure that the revenue from that would be reasonable. Kwik Fit at the time where running a GoogleAd so they must be prepared to pay for clicks and sales. I am sure there are a number of others as well.

    Thanks

    Neil

  20. avatar Jo says:

May I suggest companies that sell health foods and / or supplements e.g. Higher Nature, Bio Care, Holland and Barratt, Goodness Direct, and home delivery services helpful to the home-bound such as Wiltshire Farm Foods.

  21. avatar Neil Swan says:

I should like to suggest: http://www.dustbag.co.uk as a new retailer

I have used them for a number of years – always best price – and they use Google Ads so generally ranked number one on the search page.

Although Waitrose is already connected we get our Waitrose home deliveries through Ocado – should they be approached? Also I have regular DVD rental through Tesco.com which is 4.47 per month – why is this purchase not added to my account?

I have lodged two claims so far – one with Thomas Cook holiday which I purchased over the phone when the on line site crashed at the point of booking. I got the holiday for the same price and subsequently purchased extra leg room – this was on line and hasnt been added yet. will I have to lodge a separate claim?

    • Hi Pat

Thanks for the suggestions. I keep trying Ocado and will continue to do so until we get them.

Tesco donates £3 for every DVD Rentals subscription. If you set up the subscription before you started using Give as you Live, that may be why it hasn’t been added to your account.

Your Thomas Cook claim should appear in your account tomorrow. If you let me know the new sales figure via the claims screen, I can contact them and get them to adjust the figures.

      Kind regards

Also would be useful to get some of the larger energy companies involved as alot of people pay bills online, such as EDF, EoN, Scottish Power, British Gas, etc.

Great idea, will share this with everyone I know.

    • Hi Louise

Thanks for your suggestions. Next continue to be one of our top targets and I am in regular contact with them. Although they haven’t chosen to join yet, we are hopeful they will do in future.

    • Hi there

eBay are one of our targets and we hope to bring them on board soon. The way they typically work with sites like ours is that a large percentage of the fees will be donated (as that’s what they receive for each transaction, the selling price goes to the seller).
