We’ve been shortlisted for Golden Hedgehog ‘Best social media campaign’ award

We are delighted to start 2012 with the news that our Christmas PR campaign (which we worked on with our PR company Firefly) has been shortlisted for a PR Moment Golden Hedgehog Awards. The Give as you Live ‘All I want for Christmas’ campaign is one of eight finalists for the ‘social media campaign of the year’.

The objective of our Christmas PR campaign was to drive awareness towards how much could be raised for UK charities via shopping on Give as you live this Christmas. We are passionate about making sure as many people as possible know that, through Give as you Live, you can shop for good – and, in this case, buy Christmas presents while giving it a bit back – all without spending any more.

We’re delighted with our award nomination as it is independent feedback that we are achieving our goal. Do you remember our #xmastips Twitter party that we held with BritMums? That and a blogger event in November created a great online buzz and new shoppers were flocking pre-Christmas to sign up to Give as you Live.

Thank you very much to all of our loyal supporters – who shopped with us, blogged about us, tweeted about us, “Like”d us on Facebook, and helped us to spread the word. Without you, we would not be doing so well in getting the UK to shop for good.

Both Firefly and our team are very excited about our nomination. The winners will be announced on 28th March, we’ll keep you posted.
