I’ve had my little car for just over a year now and I still love it just as much as when I bought it. I went from driving ‘Shmo’ my silver Ford Fiesta, named after it’s number plate R923 SMO, to ‘Mischa’, a Mini Cooper in racing green.
I commute to work for an hour each day, which means I spend a lot of time in the car. I like to listen to music and I’m not going to lie, when I’m driving on my own, I sometimes sing along quite loud!
There’s only one thing that’s bugged me about my mini and that’s that I can’t listen to my iPod when I’m in it. In my old car I had a cassette tape that connected to my iPod, but I can’t use this in my new car. I’ve tried the radio transmitter option and that doesn’t work properly either!
Through Give as you Live, my purchase has generated a donation to Dementia UK. My Grandad recently passed away and he had Dementia. I chose this charity to help the sufferers of this disease, as well as their loved ones.
