It’s not too late to donate to the London Marathon… because someone is still ‘running’ it.

The 2011 London Marathon is long since over for most runners. However, Lloyd Scott is still working towards the finish line, raising money for Action for Kids.

Crawling the marathon dressed as Brian the Snail from the Magic Roundabout, Lloyd is able to manage about a mile a day. It’s slow going because in addition to crawling, Lloyd has to pull himself and Brian’s nine-foot long shell around the entire route.

If you are based in Canary Wharf then do make sure you look out of your window on 5th May as Lloyd will be crawling past around 1pm on his way to Jubilee Gardens where he has been given permission to spend the night.

Lloyd, best known as the UK’s most extreme fundraiser, has completed marathons dressed as a deep sea diver, St George and the Dragon, Indiana Jones being chased by a huge boulder and the Iron Giant robot.

If you would like to see videos of how Lloyd is crawling inside Brian’s shell or to read about his daily adventures please visit Brian’s Magic Marathon website.
